OMFG NO WAI UF TUTORIAL by Gurly OMFG NO WAI UF TUTORIAL by Gurly
OMG DIES
you have no idea how long this took LOL
you better enjoy :P

OK so
its been a long time coming
dont hate me :( cos i suck at tutorial writing
this is a step by step tutorial on one of my flower uf pieces
its not to hard to create its a pretty easy piece

so i decided to write a tut on it ;)

please be respectful and not recreate this piece exactly the same please just use as a learning curve :)

i hope this helps some people out and comments or questions greatly appreciated

if this one goes down well please say and i may write more in the future :)

Wow just wow! Followed the tutorial, it was complicated for a fresh ultra fractal user like me and i found u missed out layer 1 and 4, as on mine it goes "background" then layer 1 and on the tutorial here it goes background then layer two. I ended up with 8 layers but it was just as pretty having had a mess around with opacity shader thing and the merge modes unfortunatly cant link it as dont have a acc. Might have one in the future if this is any indication of how brilliant the pictures look! Mainly with ultra is it just how nice it looks = how many layers it has?
Thankyou very much for posting this tutorial it was a amazing experiance and gave me much confidence to have another go at it!

Well, I'm done. I'll upload it after this note. The tut was very helpful. It tok me to the next level of flower creating. I never messed with multiplier, bias, and index fn before and it made a lot of difference. I'll call it "Flowers for Gurly". Check my gallery, please, as I don't know how to link an image to you. Thank you. kc. Oh, also it came out skewed so I fixed it.

This ROCKS. Thank you. I deviated way early on so I could play and learn, but I'm DEFINITELY coming back to this so I can learn how to do a proper UF flower. Thanks for making this coherent... One of the few tuts I've actually been able to follow.

Many thanks for a great tutorial. I now have an idea of how to produce flowers.

No idea. This tut didn't work for me, from when I tried putting the codes in, they kept changing. All along the way my images didn't look like hers. I know I used the exact settings and files she said to. By the time I finished the tut, my image didn't look anything like hers at all and looked completely awful. I followed this to a tee so I don't get it. But I will try doing it again.. :(

if I remember correctly, I think when I did this a second time, try after you enter the numbers in each box hit the tab key I believe that the codes will not change if you do that. Forgive me I might be wrong, but I ended up figuring it out, the problem is I did it a couple months ago and I'm not sure how I did it, but I believe it's hitting tab after you enter the formula in each box.

hope this helps!

Have just dwld and :+fav: 'd your tutorial, and from what I've read I might (just might) :lmao: be able to do something. The conditional is not because the tutorial is not clear, it has to do with the amount of grey cells that are needed --I might be lacking a few :granny: -- anyway thank you!
I heard about this through ~just-kate :iconjust-kate: and if I comeup with something "showable" I will definitelly credit you and your tutorial :blowkiss: and :thanks: thanks again.

excuse me, I've tried to copy the same location specifications, but it seems that while i type in the new numbers the other ones in the top change, could you help me with this? i'm running out of time. and i require something similar to what you have made, you see it is for a kimono that i'm trying to develop a Kurotomesode design... and i would love red flowers like in your tutorial, it might sound a little rude, but could i ask for that file? well, i would change it a little so i wont be the same design, then again please help me, i hope you can help me, i really need this, thank you for this tutorial, i really love this design.

Same thing happened to me too BlueNavy. It is my guess that if the numbers change this is why mine didn't turn out well. Do ya think?

Yeah, well after I went through the tut again, I produced something from one of the layers. Don't ask me to explain, lol. When I tried to save it, the program put its freakin watermarks ALL OVER IT! I knew it was a 30 day trial but that's ridiculous. So after doing a tut twice that took over a half hour I had a piece of art I couldn't even use. I will stick with Apothysis..

well you could get it out with Screen shots and pasting them together with photoshop.
